Even when driving under normal road conditions the suspension components of your vehicle such as shocks,  bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints and link rods will experience wear and tear and they will have to be replaced as it becomes necessary. 

Hitting pot holes and driving over rough road conditions will place additional strain on your car's suspension and may lead to premature failure on some components.
